Spider Web Dip for a Halloween Party

Instructions

1. Spread the hummus evenly on a shallow, round serving plate or dish to create the foundation for your "web."
2. In a small bowl, whisk together the sour cream and milk (if using) until smooth and drizzleable. It should be thick enough to keep its shape and thin enough to flow.
3. Scoop the sour cream into a small zip bag and cut off a tiny corner, or use a squeeze bottle with a fine tip.
4. Starting in the centre of the hummus, pipe concentric circles of sour cream outward, leaving a small space between each circle.
5. Drag a toothpick, skewer, or knife tip from the dip's centre outward through the sour cream circles. Repeat several times around the dip to create the spiderweb's spokes.
6. Add a clean plastic spider or an olive spider made from a whole and sliced olive to the top of your web for a truly creepy look.
7. Arrange your preferred dippers around the plate and serve.
